Review: Amor Towles new road trip novel 'The Lincoln Highway' - Los As in his previous book, A Gentleman in Moscow, Mr. Towles sets up his plot points upfront and revisits them throughout. She has learned that he has purchased the Watson farm and all their land from the bank during the foreclosure. Sally also confronts him about suggesting that Emmett leave. As the reader will quickly realise, The Lincoln Highway is not the novel that it purports to be. The book features a number of great travelers and adventurers, both real and fictional. Emmett thinks to himself that he fully intends to do so and to take good care of his younger brother, Billy. The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles does capture the excitement of travel, the sense of adventure, and the company of strangers along the way. He also seems to have a soft spot for Woolly and seems to feels that hes been similarly screwed over by his family or been treated unfairly by life. Seriously! I have seen people wonder if Duchess had a hand in Woollys deathsuch as ensuring Woolly would get his sisters medicine bottle (which I dont think we ever got the name of).
